NRI Samay in conversation with Pavan Bhushan, Law Student at University of Delhi at Faculty of law on the topic of Bribe Giving and examining the case of Revanth Reddy:

- People elected their representative in good faith so that he can serve the constituency for 5 years and address their needs. Now when the people’s representative is involved in crime, is neck deep into legal hassles and unable to perform what can people do?

- How can ACB arrest a MLA? Is ACB meant for Govt employees? how can it arrest an elected Representative ? Under which section can it arrest ppls representative?

- Politicians get caught and when the video evidence is provided, the accused say that video is a fake video and tampered. Does the video evidence ever had any value for Judiciary?

- Entrapment itself is an offense as per law, so does Revanth Reddy’s case holds value?
